Charein R. Faraj, Esq. is a Michigan-licensed attorney and the founder of Physician Contracts Counsel, PLLC. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, where she served as a Law Fellow and judicial intern to a federal judge in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, and her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan. Charein began her legal career at Barris, Sott, Denn & Driker, PLLC (now Kerr Russell), counseling clients on complex business and commercial matters, before moving into legal technology at LexCheck, where she led contract automation and AI-adoption initiatives for law firms and in-house legal teams.

Charein brings that same contract-review discipline to physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals signing employment agreements. She founded Physician Contracts Counsel, PLLC to give healthcare workers the same level of scrutiny large hospital systems apply when drafting these agreements, at a flat rate and without the multi-week turnaround of a traditional law firm engagement.
